Field Service Engineer

Applicants should have an associate’s degree or higher with more than a year of experience in electronics , basic computer hardware and software, and mechanical / hands-on work. Travel is required for this position. Aviation experience a plus.

Field Service Engineers at Frasca perform the following essential functions:

  • Travel to customer site for project installation, upgrade, or maintenance.
  • Provide customers with troubleshooting assistance via telephone or email.
  • Perform factory and final acceptance testing with customer personnel.
  • Assist customers with orders.
  • Complete accurate detailed trip and expense reports.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer files in database.
  • Ensure quality verification and testing on products.

Background using the following tools are a must:

  • Electronic test equipment
  • Multimeter

  • Forklift
Application Developer

Frasca International, Inc. has an open Application Developer position in their Information Systems Department. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree with more than a year of experience in related fields.

Application Developers at Frasca perform the following essential functions:

  • Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
  • Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers to design systems and obtain information on projects.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Consult with other departments on project status, proposals & technical issues such as application design and maintenance.
  • Support end-user application-related requests.

Fiberglass Production Worker

Candidates much have a high school diploma or equivalent and 6 or more months of experience.

Fiberglass production performs the following essential functions.

  • Laminate using polyesters, vinyl esters and epoxies
  • Spray chopped fiberglass, resins, and catalysts on to prepared molds or dies using pneumatic spray guns with chopper attachments.
  • Cut, bend, form, sand, grind, glue, rivet, etc. using a variety of materials (wood, metal, foam, clay, fabrics, and plastics).
  • Select precut fiberglass mats, cloth, and wood-bracing materials as required by projects being assembled.

  • Pat or press layers of saturated mat or cloth into place on molds, using brushes or hands, and smooth out wrinkles and air bubbles with hands or squeegees.

  • Fit, trim, finish, and assemble various fabricated parts into trainers.

  • Mix catalysts into resins and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures using brushes.

  • Trim excess materials from molds using hand shears or trimming knives.

  • Experience with the following tools is a must:

  • Shears, utility knives
  • computers
  • paint gun, chopper gun
  • jointer
  • thickness planer
