July 19, 2018. Urbana, IL. The Japan Civil Aviation College (JCAC) has placed an order for five (5) FRASCA Cirrus SR22 Flight Training Devices (FTDs). The Level 5 FTDs will be configured with the Garmin NXi avionics and will include Frasca’s TruVision™ Global visual system with three channel projected visual display system, Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station, Cirrus landing gear system, sound simulation and more. July 18, 2018. Urbana, IL. Tokai University, located in Hiratsuka, Japan, has selected FRASCA to supply a Piper PA-44 Seminole G1000 Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD). The FTD will be equipped wtih real Garmin G1000NXi PFD and MFD, GFC700 Autopilot and real AspenAvionics EFT 1000 Standby and Frasca Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station. The Level 5 FTD will also include Frasca’s TruVision™ Global visual system with wraparound visual display system and digital sound system. Tokai is a repeat customer of Frasca with a Piper Seminole FTD delivered in 2009 currently in use.

Flight Simulator manufacturer, Frasca International, Inc. has received an order for a Cessna 172S Flight Training Device (FTD) from Korea Aerospace University (KAU) Department of Aeronautical Science & Flight Operations, located in Goyang, South Korea. March 28, 2018. Urbana, IL. Big Bend Community College (BBCC), Moses Lake, Washington, has placed an order for a Frasca Piper Archer AATD (Advanced Aviation Training Device). The college recently bought several new Archer aircraft from Piper and wanted a simulation device to have the exact same avionics as their new aircraft, including Garmin’s newest G1000 NXi that was announced earlier this year. Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation & Technology, St. Louis, Missouri, has placed an order for three FRASCA reconfigurable Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs). All three AATDs will include GTN-650 GPS, navigational database, ForeFlight iPad interface, Frasca’s TruVision™ visual system with three channel visual display system, Frasca’s Simplicity™ touch screen Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and will be FAA approved. The company was founded by Rudy Frasca in 1958 and remains a privately held, family run business. Frasca International, Urbana, IL has received an order for two Flight Training Devices (FTDs) from Sichuan Fan-Mei Aviation Industry Co., Ltd.; one Piper Seminole and one Robison R44. Both FTDs are built to CAAC Level 5 Standards. Sichuan Fan-Mei Aviation Industry Co., Ltd. is located in Beichuan County, Sichuan Province, China. Lantech Engineering, Ltd, Frasca’s exclusive Agent and Distributer for China, is located in Beijing and will administer the contract. The FTDs will be delivered in April of 2018. (more…)

Nov. 3, 2017, Urbana, IL. Seneca College School of Aviation, located at the Peterborough Airport, Toronto, Canada, has contracted with simulator manufacturer Frasca International, to provide a new Baron G58 Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD). The FTD will include Garmin G1000Nxi avionics, Frasca’s Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station (IOS), Frasca’s TruVision™ visual system with 220° x 55° spherical enclosure and additional advanced features. Order Includes New Simplicity™ IOS
URBANA, IL — (August 23, 2017) —Frasca International, Inc. has received an order for a second CJ1+ Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) from CAE Oxford Aviation Academy based in Mesa, Arizona. The FTD will simulate Cessna’s popular light business jet. The FTD will be qualified as a Level 5 device and will feature Frasca’s Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station (IOS). The first CJ1+ FTD was delivered in 2013. The two CJ1+ Frasca FTDs will support CAE’s MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot License) program for Japan Airlines (JAL). The Mesa location also uses Frasca Piper Archer, Seminole and Diamond DA40 & DA42 FTDs. (more…)
