SimCom Academy Selects Frasca for TBM910 FTD
Frasca International, Inc., Urbana, IL has received a contract to supply a TBM910 Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) to SimCom International’s training center located in Scottsdale, AZ.
The FTD which will be built in an actual aircraft cockpit will be equipped with G1000Nxi with two PFD’s and one MFDs including TAWS, weather radar, synthetic vision, traffic advisory system, ESP/SUP/EDM, real MD302 elecronics standby instrument and enclosed Instructor Operator System (IOS) Cab. Flight Simulator manufacturer, Frasca International, Inc. has received an order for a Cessna 172S Flight Training Device (FTD) from Korea Aerospace University (KAU) Department of Aeronautical Science & Flight Operations, located in Goyang, South Korea. Frasca Sells CJ1+ FTD to Oxford Aviation Academy
Order Includes New Simplicity™ IOS
URBANA, IL — (August 23, 2017) —Frasca International, Inc. has received an order for a second CJ1+ Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) from CAE Oxford Aviation Academy based in Mesa, Arizona. The FTD will simulate Cessna’s popular light business jet. The FTD will be qualified as a Level 5 device and will feature Frasca’s Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station (IOS). The first CJ1+ FTD was delivered in 2013. The two CJ1+ Frasca FTDs will support CAE’s MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot License) program for Japan Airlines (JAL). The Mesa location also uses Frasca Piper Archer, Seminole and Diamond DA40 & DA42 FTDs. (more…)

CTC Aviation Department buys Frasca Flight Simulator

Central Texas College held a ribbon- cutting during its Friday Night Flights Tailfin Tailgate celebration June 23 to announce the addition of four new planes and a flight simulator for the school’s aviation science department.
Two Piper Archers and two Piper Arrows were added to the fleet of training airplanes along with a Frasca Level 5 flight simulator. The new inventory will be used for student training and flight competition. (more…)

FRASCA International, Inc., Urbana, IL has been awarded a contract by the University of North Dakota (UND) to provide several Flight Training Devices (FTDs) for their aviation program. The multiple unit purchase agreement will include a large number FTDs for the Piper Archer and Seminole aircraft. URBANA, ILLINOIS (April 20, 2017) — Frasca International has sold a Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) for the Airbus H125 AStar (350B3) single-engine helicopter to Aero Asahi Corporation (AAC), Japan’s leading civil helicopter company.
The new Frasca Level 5 FTD will be used by Aero Asahi for H125 pilot training as well as to provide operational training for offshore, emergency medical service (EMS), search and rescue (SAR) and electric power line patrol missions. (more…)
