Basic operations that can be performed include communication, navigation, preflight, IFR and Air Traffic Control procedures. Cockpit familiarization and basic power plant management skills are made available, as well as in-flight functions and normal or emergency procedures. In addition, aircraft control, attitude instrument flying, navigation planning and emergency assessment can be integrated into training activities. The 342 utilizes high technology to provide realistic simulation.
