The University of Alaska
has placed
an order for an FAA Level B Full Flight Simulator for the Cessna
Caravan 208B Aircraft. The device will include 3-axis motion and
Frasca’s FVS-200TX visual system with 3-channel, 4-window collimated
display system. Also included in the order is a Level 3 Frasca Model
142 FTD with dual control and instruments, Apollo GPS, and FVS-200TX
with two window direct view display system. The University currently
operates a Frasca Model 242 with a 3-axis motion system. (December 18,

The
United States Air Force Academy,
USAFA, Colorado, has selected Frasca International to supply eight
Frasca instrument flight trainers (IFTs). The IFTs will be used to
support cadet aviation programs and will be modeled after the Raytheon
T-6A aircraft. Features include three-channel projected FVS-200TX
visual systems, CGI and active control

Aviation Academy, Sanford, FL has ordered four new Frasca FTDs;
two Model 141s and two Model
142s. All units will include GISt and
FVS-200TX

FTDs. These devices have cockpit configurations that match the new
Piper Warrior Aircraft and include FVS-200TX

Aviation Academy, Phoenix, AZ has placed an order for a Model
242T, twin engine turboprop FTD. The device will feature a three

College updates Visual System. Seneca College, Toronto,
Canada has updated their Frasca Baron and Bonanza FTDs to include
Frasca's latest FVS-200TX visual system
with a custom data base for Toronto's Buttonville airport and
surrounding features. The availability of upgrades for Frasca devices
extends the life of the FTDs and ensures maximum training value.

| The
University of Illinois,
Urbana, has placed an order for two Frasca Model
141 FTD's. One of the FTDs will be equipped with Frasca's new SAP
75 radio panel and a Garmin 430 GPS. The other will incorporate a SAP
100 radio panel and a Bendix/King KLN 94 GPS. The addition of these
FTDs will increase the universities simulator fleet to: four Frasca
Model 141's, one Model 142, and one
Model 242T. The university also
operates a Frasca Model 142 at Beckman Institute, and an RSEE
(Reconfigurable Simulator for Engineering Education) in their Aero

Portugal, has placed an order for a Frasca Model
242R - reconfigurable device. The 242R can be switched between a
B200 FNPT II MCC configuration and a Beech Duchess FNPT II

Community College, Jacksonville,
FL has ordered a Frasca Model 131 FTD. The device will be equipped
with HSI, Garmin 430 GPS and visual system. The college recently took

Flight, Pewaukee, WI has placed an order for a Model
142 FTD. This state of the art device includes multi and single
engine convertibility, dual flight controls and instruments, HSI, RMI,
operable circuit breakers, Bendix King KLN 94 color GPS, active

department of Avation at St.
Cloud State University, Minnesota has placed an order for two
Frasca FTDs, a model 242T/B1900 Turboprop and a
Model 141/Cessna 172.
Both units will include active control loading and FVS-200TX visual

Cochise
College, AZ has ordered a Frasca Model 142. The device is FAA
approved for both single and multi engine use and will include a color
visual system and many other options. The Model 142 is used
worldwide for ab-initio training. Cochise College has a long history
of providing outstanding aviation training to students from Arizona

John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences at the University
of North Dakota (UND) has placed an order for two new Frasca Piper
Seminole FTDs after an extensive evaluation of available products on
the market. The Seminole FTDs are modeled after the new Piper Seminole
aircraft and will include Garmin Avionics Packages with dual Garmin
430 GPS, FVS-200TX visual system
with 3-channel projected display and more. UND recently took
delivery of four Frasca Piper
Warrior FTDs and uses several other Frasca devices in their

Introduces Model 242R - Reconfigurable STD
 Frasca
International's Newest product, the Model
242R Reconfigurable Synthetic Training Device (STD) can be
converted for training in two or more aircraft types by using panel
overlays. The STD converts between a turbine B200 KingAir and a Piston
Engine Piper Seminole. The Model 242R features Frasca's FVS-200TX
visual system, GISt and many other features

Orders Second Frasca FNPT II STD
Ecole de Pilotage Amaury de la
Grange (EPAG),
Merville, France has placed an order for their
second Frasca built Baron FNPT II Synthetic Training Device (STD). The
first device was delivered in January 2001. In addition to a
conversion feature allowing use as either a twin-engine (Baron) or
single engine (Bonanza), the STDs include a Frasca FVS-200TX
visual system, comprehensive avionics and instrumentation, Graphical
Instructor Station (GISt), an automated testing system and more.

NIFA
Winners All Frasca Users
The UND Flying Team captured the
overall team championship in the Region V National Intercollegiate
Flying Association's (NIFA) Safety and Flight Evaluation Conference (SAFECON)
held in Grand Forks, ND, May 15-17. UND defended it's 12th
national champion standing in the last 17 years, defeating the other
25 participating flying teams. Western Michigan University
placed second and Embry-Riddle, Prescott placed third. All use
Frasca Flight Training Devices in their aviation program. (June 4,

Minnesota
State University, Mankato, MN has placed an order for a new Frasca Piper
Seminole FTD. The Seminole FTD is modeled after a new Piper Seminole aircraft and includes
a Garmin Avionics Package with dual Garmin 430 GPS. The FTD will also feature an FVS-200TX visual system with 4-channel projected

The International Aviation
Academy of New Zealand (IAANZ) has placed an order for a Frasca Model 242 FTD. The device will include Frasca's FVS-200TX visual system, GPS, and a single engine
conversion kit so that it can be used for for both single and multi engine training. IAANZ
is the largest New Zealand qualifications Authority (NZQA) and New Zealand Civil Aviation
Authority (NZCAA) Part 141 approved flight training organization in New Zealand operating

JAA Approves Frasca 737-400 FNPT II MCC
Oxford Aviation Training (OAT),
Kidlington Airport, Oxford, England, has received JAA FNPT II MCC approval for their Frasca 737-400. The device was installed last month
and features six-axis motion base, FVS-200TX visual
system and more. This is the second Frasca 737-400 to get JAA FNPT II approval, the first
being Western Michigan University, Battle Creek. Several
other Frasca devices have also received JAA FNPT I, II and II MCC approval. (May 7,

Argentine Army Orders Frasca
Helicopter FTD
The Argentine Army has placed
an order for a Frasca UH-1H Helicopter FTD
which will be located at the Escuela de Aviacion de Ejercito in Camp de Mayo, Buenos
Aires. The device will feature a three channel projected FVS-200TX
visual system with custom data base, ECL, GISt and more. It will be used to train
UH-1H pilots for their fleet of 39 helicopters. (April 2, 2001)

The Romanian Aviation Academy,
Bucharest, has received FNPT II certification by the
Romanian CAA for their Frasca Model 242 FNPT II device. This Model 242 features a single channel projected visual system. (March 26, 2001)

for FTDs
Frasca
International has been awarded an official contract with the China Aviation
Supplies Import and Export Corporation (CASC) to supply two Frasca Piper
Seminole, FAA Level 5, FTDs for the China Civil Aviation Flight College (CCAFC)

The French DGAC has approved EPAGs
Frasca
Baron/Bonanza reconfigurable FTD. The Baron configuration is qualified as a FNPT II device while the Bonanza configuration is
qualified as a FNPT I device. In addition
to a reconfigurable cockpit, the EPAG FNPT includes a two-tube EFIS system, GPS, a
projected 160 degree visual system, and a custom visual
data base. Approval by the DGAC adds to the list of countries that have
approved Frasca FNPTs under JAA regulations. This list now includes England, Sweden,
Italy, Switzerland, Romania and France. (March 12, 2001)

Lyons Township High School,
La Grange, IL has placed an order for a Model 131 with FVS-200T visual system. This will be their 4th Frasca
device. Lehigh Carbon Community College, Schnecksville, PA has ordered a Model 141 for use in their flight training program.

The United States Air Force Academy recently
contracted with Frasca to refurbish and upgrade their current Model 141 with GISt, FVS200TX and GPS. The 141 is mainly used by the USAFA
Flying Team in preparation for National Intercollegiate Flying Association Safety and
Flight Evaluation Conferences (NIFA SAFECON's). In addition to competing at
intercollegiate events, the USAFA Flying Team provides its cadet team members realistic
