Welcome to Frasca International! We're located in Urbana, Illinois, 130 miles South of Chicago and home to the University of Illinois.. Frasca employs approximately 160 people in Engineering, Accounting, Marketing, Administration, and other departments. The facility is on Frasca Field, a privately owned FBO and home to the Frasca air museum.

As a result of continued growth, Frasca is currently adding the following positions: 

DIRECTOR FINANCE/ ADMINISTRATION

This new position requires either a CPA or CMA certification along with either a BS or MBA in accounting and several years experience in a manufacturing environment. The position has responsibility for top level financial/accounting activities in a family owned business. In this role you will provide analysis to support business and investment plans, manage forecasting, and oversee financial duties including financial reporting, cost accounting, international letters of credit, 401k plan, tax planning, risk management and more.

AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER

Position requires a BS in Aeronautical Engineering, plus 2-5 years experience or equivalent. Preferred background includes rotorcraft / Helicopter knowledge plus applied aerodynamics, aircraft performance and systems analysis, stability and control, and/or flight test. Pilot training or certification, R/C modeling, or desktop simulation, is encouraged. Candidate must have good interpersonal skills, a desire to work on a wide range of aero-related topics, and a willingness to travel. Must have work authorization.

DRAFTSPERSON

Frasca International is currently accepting resumes for a motivated individual with good organizational skills for immediate employment in our mechanical design department. Prefer 2 year associates in mechanical technology but will consider minimum 1 year drafting certificate with equivalent experience. Will work with AutoCAD and SolidWorks creating detail and assembly drawings. MS Word is used to create associated bills of materials and other related documentation. No relocation.


ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

Frasca is looking for an Electronic Technician. Candidates for this position must have a two-year certificate in electronics; assembly (or military equivalent) and troubleshooting experience in analog and digital electronic assemblies. Must also have skills in reading schematics and assembly drawings, testing, calibration, troubleshooting to the component level, and repair. Familiarity with avionics a plus.
