FRASCA Provides R44 Helicopter Simulator to China
FRASCA International, Inc. Urbana, IL will provide a CAAC Level 5 TruFlite™ R44/S300 convertible Flight Training Device (FTD) to Xilin Fengteng GA Corporation, Guanghang, Sichuan Province, China. The company is the largest helicopter corporation in the Southwest of China with twelve helicopters and 35 pilots and offers helicopter medical, business and training for PPL and CPL. The FTD will be used primarily for training in emergency situations.

Liberty Aviation Upgrades Frasca Sims for NSP Program
Liberty University School of Aeronautics has become one of the first aviation programs in the country to upgrade it’s entire fleet of Cessna 172 flight simulators to Level 5 Flight Training Devices (FTD) and subsequently receive FAA certification as part of the National Simulator Program.

Finnish Aviation Academy DA42 FSTDs Receive EASA Qualification
The Finnish Aviation Academy (FinAA), Pori, has received EASA FTD 2 and FNPTII qualification on their two FRASCA built Diamond DA42 NG FSTDs that were delivered earlier this year. The two devices feature Frasca’s TruVision™ Global visual system, Frasca’s Simplicity™ Instructor Station and many other features.
FinAA has a large fleet of FRASCA simulators including the newly qualified DA-42’s, two Phenom FTDs, a KingAir FTD and an EC135 Helicopter FTD.

Cape Air Acceptance of FRASCA FTD
Cape Air, one of the nation’s largest regional airlines based in Hyannis, Massachusetts, has completed Factory acceptance on their Frasca built. Cessna 402C Level 6 Flight Training Device (FTD). The FTD includes an actual Cessna 402 cockpit shell, Frasca’s TruVision™ with 220° x 60° visual display system and many other features. The simulator is ready for delivery and will begin training service in January 2015.

FRASCA Awarded Contract for Dual Qualified Bell 407 Level 7 FTD/Level B FFS
FRASCA will supply a dual qualified Bell 407 FAA Level B Full Flight Simulator/Level 7 Flight Training Device to Bell Helicopter for use at their Customer Training Academy in Fort Worth, Texas. The FRASCA built dual qualified 407 will have capabilities to convert between the standard Bell Model 407 and the 407 GX, equipped with the Garmin G1000 avionics system. The simulator will be used for initial aircraft qualification, recurrent training and instrument training, both initial and recurrent, at the academy.

Level D CJ1+ FFS Gets CAAC Approval
Frasca’s CJ1+ Full Flight Simulator recently delivered to Nanshan International Flight Academy has received CAAC Level D approval. The Simulator is installed at Nanshan’s flight academy located in Longkou, China. The Level D FFS was delivered, installed and qualified, meeting all technical requirements and schedule milestones.

Collegiate Flight Programs Upgrade FRASCA Simulators
Several collegiate flight programs have contracted with simulator manufacturer FRASCA International, to upgrade their existing FRASCA simulators to be approved as FAA Level 5 Flight Training Devices (FTDs). These include; the University of North Dakota, Liberty University, Western Michigan University, and Southern Illinois University.
