Epic Flight Academy Takes Delivery of FRASCA 172 AATD with Advanced Motion System
Epic Flight Academy, New Smyrna Beach, FL has taken delivery of a Frasca 172 Advanced Aviation Training Device (AATD) with Frasca’s Motion Cueing System for fixed wing devices (FMCS-FX). They are the first flight school to own and operate a general aviation device with this level of high fidelty motion.The AATD is the first of it’s kind to include a six-axis motion base and high definition three channel wrap around visual systems, features typically not available on this level of device. Aviation Education Organizations in China Select FRASCA Simulators
October 23, 2018. Urbana, IL. Several aviation education organizations in China have selected Frasca International, Inc. to provide flight training devices for their programs this year. New orders for 2018 include a Level 5 Archer Flight Training Device (FTD) for Chengdu Fanmei Aviation Industry Co, Ltd, located in Chengdu, Sichuan, a Cessna 172 Level 5 FTD for Hebei Zhiyuan GA Co, LTD, located in the Hebei Province and a DA40/42 G1000 FTD for the First International Aviation Academy located in the Jilin Province. Moody Aviation Selects FRASCA AATDs for Aviation Program
After spending the last several years considering options to supplement it’s simulated training devices, Moody Aviation has selected Frasca International to provide three reconfigurable Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) for use at their flight training facility at Felts Field in Spokane, Washington. Moody is one of Frasca’s earliest customers, having purchased their first Frasca simulator in the 1960’s. Moody currently uses several Frasca devices which have been acquired over the years. Their three new AATDs will replace three earlier Frasca units. (more…)

Korea Aerospace University Orders FRASCA C172 Simulator
July 2, 2018. Urbana, IL. Flight Simulator manufacturer, Frasca International, Inc. has received an order for a Cessna 172S Flight Training Device (FTD) from Korea Aerospace University (KAU) Department of Aeronautical Science & Flight Operations, located in Goyang, South Korea. The Level 5 FTD will include NAVIII Garmin G1000 avionics, Frasca TruVision™ visual system with three channel projected display system and Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station. (more…)

Ethiopian Airlines Adds Diesel 172 Simulator
Frasca FNPT II Device Integral in Modernized Training Academy
May 8, 2017. Frasca International,Inc.Urbana, IL has received an order from The Ethiopian Airlines Flight Training Academy, the training division of the Ethiopian Airlines Aviation Group, for a FRASCA 172 Flight Navigation Procedures Trainer (FNPT II). The 172 FNPT II will be configured as a diesel model and will include Frasca’s TruVision™ Global visual system with a 210 x 57 cyclindrical visual display system. This will be the first Frasca flight simulator installed in Ethiopia. (more…)

Southern Utah University To Add Frasca FTDs
Southern Utah University’s (SUU) School of Business has purchased Frasca FTD Flight Simulators for the Robinson 44 Helicopter with the Garmin G-500 avionics package and the Cessna 172 Airplane with the Garmin G-1000 avionics package, enabling students in the SUU Aviation Professional Pilot Program to take advantage of the valuable training benefits beginning fall semester 2016.
