Global Medical Response to Acquire Two FRASCA Helicopter FTDs
The training devices will support training required for HEMS/HAA operations
February 24, 2020. Urbana, IL. Global Medical Response, headquartered in Greenwood Village Colorado, has placed an order for two FRASCA Level 7 Helicopter Flight Training Devices (FTDs), which will support aviation training for two of its air medical operations. Guardian Flight will begin using the Airbus H125 FTD, and Med-Trans Corporation will start using the Bell 407GX FTD for both initial and recurrent pilot training. (more…)

Frasca International Sells Airbus H125 Helicopter Flight Simulator to Aero Asahi Corporation, Japan’s Largest Civil Helicopter Business
URBANA, ILLINOIS (April 20, 2017) — Frasca International has sold a Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) for the Airbus H125 AStar (350B3) single-engine helicopter to Aero Asahi Corporation (AAC), Japan’s leading civil helicopter company.
The new Frasca Level 5 FTD will be used by Aero Asahi for H125 pilot training as well as to provide operational training for offshore, emergency medical service (EMS), search and rescue (SAR) and electric power line patrol missions. (more…)

Transport Canada Approves HNZ AS350 FSTD
November 4, 2016. HNZ Group Partners, Montreal, Canada has received Transport Canada approval on their Frasca built AS350 Level 7 Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD). The FSTD is convertible between three different configurations of the aircraft including the AS350B2 analog instrument panel, the AS350B2 VEMD instrument panel and the AS350B3e VEMD instrument panel. The Frasca device is the first Level 7 FSTD certified in Canada. While HNZ has used simulation training for its twin engine aircraft for many years, (more…)
