Aviation Education Organizations in China Select FRASCA Simulators
October 23, 2018. Urbana, IL. Several aviation education organizations in China have selected Frasca International, Inc. to provide flight training devices for their programs this year. New orders for 2018 include a Level 5 Archer Flight Training Device (FTD) for Chengdu Fanmei Aviation Industry Co, Ltd, located in Chengdu, Sichuan, a Cessna 172 Level 5 FTD for Hebei Zhiyuan GA Co, LTD, located in the Hebei Province and a DA40/42 G1000 FTD for the First International Aviation Academy located in the Jilin Province. Moody Aviation Selects FRASCA AATDs for Aviation Program
After spending the last several years considering options to supplement it’s simulated training devices, Moody Aviation has selected Frasca International to provide three reconfigurable Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) for use at their flight training facility at Felts Field in Spokane, Washington. Moody is one of Frasca’s earliest customers, having purchased their first Frasca simulator in the 1960’s. Moody currently uses several Frasca devices which have been acquired over the years. Their three new AATDs will replace three earlier Frasca units. (more…)

Frasca Named Sub for Navy TH-57 Aircrew Training Contract
September 17, 2018. Urbana, IL. Frasca International, Inc. (Frasca) has been named sub-contractor for the Navy TH-57 Aircrew Training Services (ATS) Contract. The prime contract, which was awarded by the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) to FlightSafety Services Corporation includes contract instructional services (CIS), contractor operations & maintenance services (COMS) and Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) for CNATRA. Japan Civil Aviation College Orders 5 FRASCA FTDs
July 19, 2018. Urbana, IL. The Japan Civil Aviation College (JCAC) has placed an order for five (5) FRASCA Cirrus SR22 Flight Training Devices (FTDs). The Level 5 FTDs will be configured with the Garmin NXi avionics and will include Frasca’s TruVision™ Global visual system with three channel projected visual display system, Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station, Cirrus landing gear system, sound simulation and more. Tokai University Selects FRASCA for Seminole Sim
July 18, 2018. Urbana, IL. Tokai University, located in Hiratsuka, Japan, has selected FRASCA to supply a Piper PA-44 Seminole G1000 Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD). The FTD will be equipped wtih real Garmin G1000NXi PFD and MFD, GFC700 Autopilot and real AspenAvionics EFT 1000 Standby and Frasca Simplicity™ Instructor Operator Station. The Level 5 FTD will also include Frasca’s TruVision™ Global visual system with wraparound visual display system and digital sound system. Tokai is a repeat customer of Frasca with a Piper Seminole FTD delivered in 2009 currently in use.

Korea Aerospace University Orders FRASCA C172 Simulator
July 2, 2018. Urbana, IL. Flight Simulator manufacturer, Frasca International, Inc. has received an order for a Cessna 172S Flight Training Device (FTD) from Korea Aerospace University (KAU) Department of Aeronautical Science & Flight Operations, located in Goyang, South Korea. Big Bend Community College Orders FRASCA Archer Simulator
March 28, 2018. Urbana, IL. Big Bend Community College (BBCC), Moses Lake, Washington, has placed an order for a Frasca Piper Archer AATD (Advanced Aviation Training Device). The college recently bought several new Archer aircraft from Piper and wanted a simulation device to have the exact same avionics as their new aircraft, including Garmin’s newest G1000 NXi that was announced earlier this year. Parks College Adds Three FRASCA AATDs to Aviation Program

Saint Louis University’s Parks College of Engineering, Aviation & Technology, St. Louis, Missouri, has placed an order for three FRASCA reconfigurable Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs). All three AATDs will include GTN-650 GPS, navigational database, ForeFlight iPad interface, Frasca’s TruVision™ visual system with three channel visual display system, Frasca’s Simplicity™ touch screen Instructor Operator Station (IOS) and will be FAA approved.
