In the mid-2000s, the Bristow Group began operating a new generation of twin-engine IFR helicopters to support offshore oil and gas (O&G) exploration and production – the Airbus EC225, Sikorsky S- 76C++, and Sikorsky S-92. To support flight training in these new aircraft, Bristow needed top-of-the-line simulators that ensured a realistic training environment.

Frasca International, Inc, has received an order for a Bell 407 GXi AATD (Advanced Aviation Training Device) from Life Flight Network, LLC a HEMS provider based in Aurora, Oregon. The Helicopter Institute, Fort Worth, TX has placed an order for a Frasca Bell 407 Helicopter Training Device (HTD). The HTD is an FAA qualified AATD and features Garmin G500H display, Simulated HeliSAS, Garmin GTN650 GPS,Frasca’s TruVision™ visual system with three channel HDTV visual display system and a Newport, OR Helicopter mission training visual database.
