Frasca RTDs Receive CASA Approval in Australia

Frasca International, Inc. has received Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approval on their RTD™ (Reconfigurable Training Device) as a category B synthetic trainer. Three FRASCA RTDs have been delivered to CAE for use at CAE Melbourne and CAE Tamworth training facilities in Australia. The three RTDs are reconfigurable between the Cessna 172 and Piper Seminole, all with G1000 NXi Avionics and feature a three-channel visual system.

American Flyers – Training Pilots for 80 Years
Adding on to their distinct training program is the use of simulators for flight training. American Flyers has been a leader in aviation advancement in the entirety of its 80 years, and was the first flight school to use simulators in training. In fact, they worked with Frasca International to help build the first simulator, making them a key player in flight simulation.

Frasca sims part of ERAU’s fleet update
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University announced its plan to replace up to 60 of its existing aircraft fleet with new Cessna Skyhawks from Textron Aviation Inc. and four new Diamond DA42-VI aircrafts from Diamond Aircraft Industries.
Frasca sims are part of ERAU’s fleet update to address pilot shortage.

Frasca Logs Several Simulator Sales in China
China Market Continues to be strong for Simulator Manufacturer
July 15, 2019 Urbana, IL. Frasca International, Inc. has logged several simulator sales to customers in China within the last several months. Recent orders include a KingAir C90 Level 5 Flight Training Device (FTD) for the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) located in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China. The FTD will be used by the CAAC’s Northeast Regional Administration Bureau for research and pilot training. (more…)

OxfordSaudia to use FRASCA Flight Training Devices at New Training Center
